“This is it…our last day at DreamWorks on Voltron. It’s pretty surreal. We started this ride in June 2014 and we just had our final watchdown of the final episode of Season 8.” revealed Dos Santos. “I just wanted to take a moment and say that it has been an absolute honor and privilege to work alongside such a talented and dedicated cast and crew.”
A modernized reboot of the classic Japanese animated series, Legendary Defender was a joint production between Netflix and DreamWorks Animation. Enlisting Dos Santos and Lauren Montgomery to develop the new series based on their work on the previous animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra, the revival debuted to critical acclaim and received a 78-episode commitment which it will fulfill following the completion of its eighth season.
