Disney has revealed a new poster for Star Wars Resistance, the Star Wars franchise’s latest animated series.
The poster for Resistance, which premieres on Disney XD on October 8, boasts the series’ cel-shaded, anime-inspired art style. Fan-favorite droid BB-8 is front-and-center, followed closely by series lead Kazuno Xiono and a whole team of other pilots.

Resistance follows Rebels and the newly revived Clone Wars as the third animated series set in the Star Wars universe. Though it was created by Dave Filoni, it looks to be a sharp departure, with a bright, unique art style and a new set of executive producers. Filoni revealed to IGN that he has stepped away from his day-to-day role on Resistance, but called the new series exciting and said the creators on the show deserve the opportunity to tell their stories.
Star Wars Resistance premieres Sunday, Oct. 7, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. It stars Christopher Sean as Kazuda Xiono, Suzie McGrath as Tam Ryvora, Scott Lawrence as Jarek Yeager, Myrna Velasco as Torra Doza, Josh Brener as Neeku Vozo, Donald Faison as Hype Fazon, Jim Rash and Bobby Moynihan as Flix and Orka, respectively, and Rachel Butera as General Leia Organa. Oscar Isaac and Gwendoline Christie are set to reprise their roles of Poe Dameron and Captain Phasma for the premiere.
