Following allegations of sexual assault from an ex-girlfriend, Chloe Dykstra, entertainment host and panel moderator Chris Hardwick has been pulled from duty at July’s Comic-Con International in San Diego.
In addition, AMC also announced the talk show Talking with Chris Hardwick, which was set to premiere its second season this Sunday, has also been pulled from the network.

Hardwick was due to moderate AMC’s The Walking Dead Panel, as well as the BBC’s Doctor Who panel with new star Jodie Whittaker, but a statement from AMC reveals in light of the allegations, those plans will no longer be happening.
AMC’s statement reads:
We have had a positive working relationship with Chris Hardwick for many years. We take the troubling allegations that surfaced yesterday very seriously. While we assess the situation, Talking with Chris Hardwick will not air on AMC, and Chris has decided to step aside from moderating planned AMC and BBC America panels at Comic-Con International in San Diego next month.

Hardwick has since responded in the wake of the allegations, categorically any sexual assault. Hardwick’s statement comes just after Nerdist, the brand he helped launch, also severed any remaining affiliation with him.
