Jessica Jones was renewed for a third season in April, with production beginning earlier this month. While Marvel has yet to release any story details about the upcoming season of Jessica Jones, rumors stemming from casting announcements seem to suggest that the superhuman private detective will face off against superpower-fueled wrestlers. The fighters illicitly obtain their powers through Power Broker Inc., a firm linked in the comics to Dr. Malus, a prominent character in Jessica Jones‘ second season.

Streaming now on Netflix, Jessica Jones Season 2 is executive produced by Melissa Rosenberg, Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory. The series stars Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Rachael Taylor as Patricia “Trish” Walker, Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse, J. R. Ramirez as Oscar Arocho, Terry Chen as Pryce Cheng, Leah Gibson as Inez Green, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth, and Janet McTeer.
