James Corden's "Mr. Magnificent" Magic Act Leaves Eddie Redmayne Less Than Impressed

Movies

We'd like to think that James Corden would have learned to steer clear from adopting wild routines after his 4 a.m. workout with Mark Wahlberg. This is not the case. Instead the host of The Late Late Show with James Corden tried his luck convincing the Ministry of Magic that he's a magician — "Mr Magnificent, the Master of Mystery," to be precise.

Acting as magical officer for the day, Eddie Redmayne's response to Magnificent's wand, card tricks, and "spangle sparkles" was less than impressed. In fact, the Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald actor seemed so perturbed, he even threw a transfiguration spell into the mix. Watch the full routine above and find yourself wishing you were the dove. Better luck next time, James.
